About me: Hello, I am an elongate nothobranch "aquarium strain" and am best kept in soft, slightly acidic water. I also feel very comfortable in dense planting. If you want to breed me, a vessel with peat fibers is needed. The socialization with other species of N. guentheri should be avoided. As for eating, I am uncomplicated, as I tolerate dry/frozen and live foods.

General information: The male has a faint light yellow ground coloration with an increasingly strong red component towards the caudal fin. The females are unicolored light brown-light gray.
